The Latorica area is a mosaic of floodplain forests, wetlands, oxbow lakes, and sandy grasslands in the Zemplín region, thriving thanks to the Latorica and Bodrog rivers.
- We are also improving water conditions in the oxbow lakes Tajba and Tice through a network of channels and sluice gates that will bring water from nearby water-management structures. This will support exceptionally valuable aquatic and wetland communities.
